This course is for anyone who wants to learn all about subtitling. The GoSub Subtitle course is for complete beginners and covers all the fundamental terms and concepts, industry-standard subtitling guidelines, technical specs and processes, as well as file formats. Students will learn the mechanics of subtitling. By the end of the course, students will be able to create subtitles, as well as edit and adapt subtitle files. The course assumes students have translation skills from English into their mother tongue into which they will be asked to translate as part of the course.
